Training program at NIRD&PR, Hyderabad

NatureOps India Foundation had an educational field trip to “National Institute of Rural Development & Panchayat Raj (NIRD&PR), Hyderabad on 21st December, 2019. The vision of NIRD&PR is to focus on the policies and programmes that benefit the rural poor, strive to energise the democratic decentralization processes, improve the operation and efficiency of rural development personnel, promote transfer of technology through its social laboratories, Technology Park and create environmental awareness. The mission of NIRD&PR is to examine and analyse the factors contributing to the improvement of economic and social well-being of people in rural areas on a sustainable basis with focus on the rural poor and the other disadvantaged groups through research, action research and consultancy efforts.

We got the exposure of two different programs. The Programme of Post Graduate Diploma in Tribal Development Management is ideally suited for both working officials as well as fresh graduates. It has been designed under the excellent guidance of a Programme Advisory Committee. It aims to enhance managerial skills, research competence and self-development amongst the participants.

The second program, Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Rural Development is designed to have unique opportunity to access best learning resources for developing strong perspective and technical capability for developing and managing rural development projects on their own. They will be trained to be professionals with difference.

Interaction with professors i.e. Dr. Sonal Mobar Roy, Dr. Aryashree Debapriya and Dr Akanksha Shukla who are experienced faculties have guided us for sharing the valuable information and for igniting the spirit in us to become future successful entrepreneurs.
