What is your definition of development?

Who is responsible for the tough time the world is going through today? To find the answer to this question one does not have to go far and wide to observe centuries. Even though it has already been observed, human has not learned from it. If it had been learned, this time would not have come today. Nature has given every living thing what it wants. Human has got the most out of it but the man still wants more and continues to be forcibly taken away from nature to get the excess.

Just as nature has created the anatomy of every living thing, it has also created the anatomy of this earth. Nature has made it possible for you to have enough natural resources to live in the first layer of the earth, no matter where you live.

But due to the unlimited expectations of human beings, today the earth is dying from within and the sea has become polluted. The part from which something is extracted and the part around it is becoming lifeless. Because of this, the ecosystem of that area is endangered but everyone has the right to live therefore another area is sacrificed to revive that area. The impact of these measures is not only limited to the environment but is also having a physical, economic and social impact. The problems of the world are connected with these three words.

Physical problems are directly related to food and nature. The trend of consuming seasonal and natural/organic crops/food has become negligible. Which has caused and continues to cause long-term changes within the human body. Which is not a good thing for the next age generations.

The economic problem is related to hurting nature. Damage to nature has created environmental, health, and social problems and in addition economic problems are increasing day by day. Society is made up of people and every human being is directly connected with nature. Social problems such as poverty, hunger, health, illiteracy, ignorance, gender inequality, etc. have flooded the world. Every country in the world has a social problem. Seeing any problem, our heart hurts for a while and then forgets. Every problem in the world is directly or indirectly linked to the environment. Research is being done to address these problems but they have not yet paid off.

Every society in the world has its own culture. In which tribal society is a society that lives with nature and all these problems are not seen in this society. Tribal society has a solution to every problem. The realization that tribal society has a way to save the world first came to the fore in 1992 at the Earth Summit in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This was followed by the signing of the Paris Agreement in 2016. The conclusion of which was how to develop the world and protect the environment as well as the tribals. But the implementation of what was agreed upon is nowhere to be seen. Even today the damage to the environment and nature continues and now it has increased a lot.

The tribal society has the means to save the world as they live in harmony with nature. Instead of saving the tribals all over the world, they are being displaced in the name of national interest and development. How will the world survive if they are displaced? Although social, economic and environmental organizations are working all over the world the result is very little.

Development is talked about all over the world. But no one talks about its ways. Every one of our way is harming nature. Don't you think that the direction we are heading is wrong? Don't you think that the time to talk about changing the way of life is over and it’s time to implement it?
