Mission and Activity

NatureOps is on a mission to make it simple for the food chain by protecting nature with the help of people!

NatureOps is working on prime aspects of nature i.e. Water, Forest and Land. NatureOps is working toward permanent solution related water, forest and land.

  • Water: Water Management is important since it helps determine future Irrigation expectations. Water management is the management of water resources under set policies and regulations. Water, once an abundant natural resource, is becoming a more valuable commodity due to droughts and overuse.

Water scarcity affects more than 40% of the global population. Water-related disasters account for 70% of all deaths related to natural disasters. NatureOps helps countries ensure sustainability of water use, build climate resilience and strengthen integrated management.

  • Forest: We depend on forests for our survival, from the air we breathe to the wood we use. Besides providing habitats for animals and livelihoods for humans, forests also offer watershed protection, prevent soil erosion and mitigate climate change. Yet, despite our dependence on forests, we are still allowing them to disappear. We need the forest. It responds to a number of our needs, including recreation.

NatureOps have educational objectives for forest. Plan, conduct, analyse forest inventories, including biological, physical, and social characteristics using different statistical sampling methods to Describe and analyse forest ecosystems.

  • Land: Land resource is important for us. Land resources are limited because only 43% of the total land area is plain which is suitable for agricultural activities. 27% of the total land area is covered with plateau region which are moderately populated. Mountains cover 30% of the total land area and are sparsely populated. Land has become a limited resource because the degradation of land is taking place at a faster pace. Deforestation, water logging, construction of large dams, mining and over grazing have resulted in the degradation of the land resource.

NatureOps’ objective of sustainable land management is to harmonise the complimentary goals of providing environmental, economic, and social opportunities for the benefit of present and future generations, while maintaining and enhancing the quality of the land (soil, water and air) resource. Sustainable land management is the use of land to meet changing human needs (agriculture, forestry, conservation), while ensuring long-term socioeconomic and ecological functions of the land.

Currently, NatureOps is working on a sustainable farming project. This is not just a project but it’s a journey. So it’s a never ending process.

Farms are a crucial part of our world, not only because of the food it provides us, but also because it helps to promote and protect regional food systems and contributes to the overall environmental quality. However, most people today wouldn’t like to live and work on a farm and the number of farmers decrease day-by-day. There are few biggest problems faced by farmers.

NatureOps India Foundation is visiting farmers day by day to solve their problems and spreading awareness for use of farmland, sustainable farming, how to boost ground water, how to make land plastic free, importance of bees and importance of nature in our life.
